Punjab Police Jobs February 2018 – Apply for the post of Security Constable, Driver Constable and Wireless Constable: Special Protection Unit abbreviated as SPU is a dedicated branch of the Punjab Provincial Police department, operational with it’s breakneck services to any emergency situation and for protecting the citizens by enforcing the law and order situation across the province. The unit is requiring the services of valiant and suitably qualified male and females from all districts of Punjab to serve the unit as a Constable (BS-07) under three different heads. Each applicant has to undergo a pre-specified selection process comprising a series of written tests, interviews, medical examination and physical evaluation, to be conducted at regional Police headquarters. Females are equally encouraged to apply while there is a reserved quota to be observed for women, which is 15%, for EX-Amry personnel it’s 10%, and for Minorities, the 5% of the total advertised seats are reserved. On selection, an employee has to perform duty under the said unit, and he/she will be not be allowed to change the branch or to apply for any other unit under the Police department, and in this concern, an Affidavit is to be signed by each incumbent. Selection individuals will be posted anywhere in Punjab under the SPU.
