PM’s youth training scheme is basically a part of “The Government of Pakistan Prime Minister Youth (Internship) Program” which is basically oriented to introduce and train skilled individuals (form KPK, Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan and countrywide locations) under various technical and non-technical institutions. The departments where the hard-working individuals are supposed to be trained are operational either under the Government of Pakistan (including semi-government agencies) or from the private sector. As per the officially declared numbers, total 15,000 vacant positions are there for the trainees to get their professional skills groomed under renowned institutions spread countrywide. The internship opportunity is for both genders and for those who wish to improve their skills relating the niche and have shown persistence in achieving their goals. Shortlisted folks (internees) will be introduced under departments institutions and ministries operational under the federal government, banking companies, public-private corporations, and other industries. Eligibility Terms:
Only the individuals bearing the following requisites are eligible to apply
- 16 years of education or equivalent 03 years diploma (after Matric and Inter) with 2.5 CGPA.
- 18-25 years is the age limit (at 05-11-2017) while upper age limit is 30 for aspirants from FATA, Southern Punjab, FATA, Gilgit, and Balochistan.
- Madrassa Graduates are also eligible.
In-Eligibility Conditions:
Following individuals are not eligible
- Who have already availed any internship under the similar or same scheme by the Government.
- Government or private employees.
- Full-time student in any Governmental or private institution.
- He who has concealed or presented wrong academic or personal information.
Procedure to Be Followed By The Scheme:
This initiative doesn’t promise the job adjustment/allocation under the department/institution which the student has completed his/her internship with. On completion of internship duration (12 months), each internee will be awarded internship certificate by Inter-Province and respective department.
