The Government of Pakistan, Prime Minister’s Laptop Scheme 2016-2017 Phase 3 has been started and online applications (Registration) are required from candidates, currently enrolled under specified Master’s level courses, Graduate level Studies, M.BA, MS, MPhil or Ph.d programs. It has been reported that more than 100,000 Laptops (HP/Dell) are intended to be distributed through PM Laptop Scheme Phase 3. All this effort is attributed to the Hon’ble Prime Minister of Pakistan, who has taken literal steps to enable the youth to get technology rich and participate in the progress of the country by utilizing information technology, as the underlying motive is to gain maximum grades and to get adjusted under Government or Private sector. pmnls.hec.gov.pk has provided an online portal to submit an application and get registered by choosing the program and the University (Institution) provided in the list, mentioned.

Leftover candidates from PM Laptop Scheme Phase 2 are also eligible to apply in phase-III, while Laptops are to be distributed as per the strength of the students in an individual institution and the provincial quota specified for each province. Laptops under the said scheme will be divided purely on merit basis and students from both Genders will be considered for allotment.

PM Laptop Scheme 2016 Phase 3 Eligibility & Registration

Programs Entitled For Consideration:

Students enrolled under the following programs are invited to apply online and get registered against the scheme. Each aspirant will be able to check his/her application status via the Data Verification Portal or Application Verification Portal by HEC.

BS (04 years, Equivalent to 16 years education) programs.
All Master’s (Equivalent to 16 years education) programs.
M.BA 3-1/2 years program.
MS/MPhil.
P.hD program.

In-Eligibility Criteria:

Those students who have already availed such scheme/schemes (By Provincial or Federal Government) and got a Laptop, thereof.
Foreign national are also not eligible with few exceptions like, AJK residents and from Indian Occupied Kashmir.
Any other student listed above or as decided by steering committee.
Zero or deficiency semester students.
Students who have been dismissed from the institution.
