Pakistan Army Short Service Regular Commission Jobs 2019 – Online registration is open for the individuals who aspire to join Pak army as Captain/Major through regular SSC course or “Pakistan Temporary Commission”. A number of positions are available for both male and female citizens who can serve the nation as GDMOs, Specialists, GDDOs or PTC Officers. The willing candidates will have to get registered and apply for the desired positions. Moreover, one will only be able to achieve success if he/she falls accurately under the eligibility criteria. Furthermore, it is necessary to pass the intelligence/preliminary/written tests which will be conducted in the AS&RCs, the final stages medical examination will be taken in the nearest CMH. Those will be considered eligible for selection will go for an interview which will be taken by GHQ selection board, the final selection will be purely made on merit. Note: Overseas Pakistanis May also apply, however dual nationals will have to give up the other nationality if selected.

Ineligibility Conditions:

  • Those who have been declared unfit from Armed Forces Hospital/due to Hepatitis B & C.
  • Found guilty by the court of law.
  • Withdrawn from academy/college/ training of Armed Forces Institution.
  • Dismissed from government services.
  • Removed from Armed forces.
  • Rejected by ISSB once for PMA/ OTS/ JCA/ Graduate course or equal.
  • Declared unfit by Appeal Medical Board.

How to apply?

To start the application process, the prepared candidates will have to complete the registration, which can be done either online at (by visiting the link provided below) or by visiting the nearest AS&RC which is the enrollment centre. It is suggested that the candidates take the required documents along for the completion of the enrollment procedure. Later the roll number will be issued which is necessary for the tests.

  1. The preliminary tests will be conducted from 25 to 28 Feb 2019.
  2. Later, the applicants will take written/ intelligence/ personality test, the test will be comprised of the MCQs and will be conducted at the AS&RCs.
  3. An initial medical test will also be taken at the AS&RCs.
  4. Later only the selected candidates will be called for an interview which will be taken by the GHQ selection board at Karachi, Lahore & Rawalpindi.
  5. Those who will be selected after an interview will undergo a medical test, which will take place in the nearest CMH.
  6. Once after the completion of selection procedure and requirements, the selected individuals will go for training which will be 22 weeks long.

For Overseas Candidates:

  • The overseas candidates can apply ay the closest Consulate General of Pakistan; the application will be sent forward by the Defence Attache.
  • PA Directorate will provide the date for the tests, and the applicants will have to appear for test on the given dates.
  • Candidates will have to pay the prospectus fee on the test day.
  • The required documents must be submitted on the test day too.

Note: No travelling allowance will be given.

Documents Required:

  1. Original educational certificates/DMCs with 2 attested photocopies of each certificate/degree/diploma.
  2. 3 Photographs attested from the front & back.
  3. Attested photocopy of domicile.
  4. Two attested photocopies of registration certificate issued by PM&DC.
  5. A postal order of Rs. One hundred in favour of Director General Personnel Administration (DGPA), GHQ Rawalpindi.

Note: the candidates selected for GDMOs, GDOs, and specialists will sign the bond to serve Army for five years, and those chosen for PTC Officers will sign the bond to serve Army for two years.
